If you were expecting a restaurant, market or cafe and landed on a listing in this group, it usually means the original source listed the business under an unusual or mixed category rather than a plain food label. Contact information, address and hours are still pulled from the same public data used across Buffalo and New York, so they should be accurate even where the category is not a perfect fit. Because this group spans everything from medical clinics to auto shops to gift stores, there is no single etiquette or norm that applies across it; treat each listing on its own terms and call ahead if the category alone does not tell you what you need to know.

Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Buffalo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The food was SOOOO DELICIOUS! We got the vegetarian combo plate. Every single item was amazingly tasty. 1000000% recommend. Would go here over and over.

Great experience! I was surprised that my kids loved the combo meat platter! I had a bit of trouble finding it because of the small, high signage (see picture) but it’s in a good location with a variety of easy parking options. This restaurant is β€œfood court” style, sharing a long narrow corridor space in the theatre district of Buffalo with other ethnic food vendors. The music was very loud but the atmosphere was friendly and I felt comfortable with the kids there for a late lunch.

Not sure what all the high ratings were for. The entire experience left a lot to be desired. Food was okay. They took the order wrong. By the time the food was served the injera was already cold, it wasn't soft and fluffy. I ordered the combination platter, the food was a mixed bag: the cubed beef was salty! Best part of the platter was the cabbage, potatoes and carrots, fork tender and seasoned just right. The portions were small compared to the pictures posted. You have to pay credit card transaction fee regardless of how much you pay! Located in a building that was turned into a food court, nicely decorated.

Great service and delicious food. Ordered a couple items to try the variety of options available. Tried the combination platter as well as the Beef Tibs sandwich. Both were flavorful and seasoned well. The sandwich was well made and came with a little salad. The platter was stuffed with chicken, beef, egg, and veggies. If you're looking to try Ethiopian food, give spot a try!
